At The Universal Farm, we see education as a living system, one that adapts, evolves, and grows just as children do. Every child is driven toward self-becoming: to understand who they are, to make meaning, and to contribute joyfully to the world. Our role is not to fill children, but to create the conditions for deep, lifelong learning to take root.
Guided by the work of Dr. Ida Rose Florez, we think in regenerative principles, wholes, circles, networks, and dynamic systems. We honour cycles and seasons, adapt to children's rhythms, and act generatively, creating more life, possibility, and belonging than we take.
Following these principles within a learning community restores us, each other, and the land…we all stand to mutually thrive. Children feel safe, seen, and connected here; this is where confidence, compassion, and curiosity flourish.
At The Universal Farm difference is celebrated because monocultures choke ecosystems, whereas diverse communities thrive. We do not wish to fix the system, but want to grow the system that comes next.
If you believe childhood should be lived, not endured and learning should liberate, not limit, please come and see us in action..
The Universal Farm is seeking Independent School Registration in order to be able to open its doors in January 2026 to a cohort of Reception and Key Stage 1 learners. Our initial intake will offer a progressive and largely outdoor learning environment for a single class entry of children aged 4 to 7 years old for a maximum of 10 children. We are currently accepting expressions of interest until we are in a position to officially accept children on roll. Before official registration we will offer a 3 day learning experience from September 2025.
We are seeking registration as a progressive independent school that offers an individually tailored education that pulls away from comparison and competition and leans into creativity, collaboration and healing. This January 2026, until we achieve official school registration we are offering a 3 day learning community. To register your interest in a place please click on the button below.
